Matching Headbands for Mom and Baby, Simple Knitting Pattern

You may think I’m being dramatic when I say that I love my niece more than anything in the world. But it’s true. I started knitting again specifically to make her as many cute things as possible! When I made her a headband one day, my eldest sister Tabbi asked “Is it completely ridiculous that I want one of these for myself? It is totally adorable!”. This started the matching headband phase.

And here’s the good news – they are the easiest thing I’ve ever made!

Using 6mm needles, cast on 5 stitches (or  15 if you are making adult size. Number must be odd!)

Row 1: Knit one, purl one, knit one, purl one, knit one.
Row 2: Repeat row one until big enough to fit around the head of Baby or Momma!
Cast off. Sew ends together neatly.
