Whenever I use a mask I buy at the store, I always break out. I have never found one that is nice to my skin while also making it soft and bright. I gave in and decided to try out a little DIY mask making. It worked, and here are the fantastic results!
Chop half an avocado roughly, dribble in a tablespoon of honey, teaspoon of hot water and teaspoon of lemon juice.
Liberally shake some tumeric, cinnamon and (a little less liberally) ginger. Now, here’s the fun part! Using a whisk, mash up your mask and once almost smooth, give it a thorough whisk. Warning: This will look (and perhaps smell) a little gross.
Scrape out into a nice bowl cover with plastic wrap. Use immediately or leave in fridge for up 2 days, covered. Apply to face and leave on for ten minutes. Rinse off and wash face with a gentle face wash. Pat dry and your skin will be soft and bright!
